HDFC Bank has launched the HDFC Bank virtual credit card through software known as NetSafe. Similar to a prepaid credit card, the virtual credit card is a payment solution that protects the cardholder’s personal details such as their credit card number, PIN as well as other proprietary information. A virtual credit card is one where the physical card details are not used for making a payment. Instead, a virtual card number will be generated for each payment made to avoid duplication or the phishing of information entered when making a payment online

• The applicant should already have an existing HDFC credit or debit card.
• The applicant should have the required funds or should have enough credit for the transaction to take place
